At work we use Windows-PCs as well as Macs. We have a shared Server.
Currently people at the office are unhappy that we can't simply share links to files on the server via email.
I've been looking into this problem and came up with a solution to change the file path structure from mac standard to windows and vice verca.
The difficulty I run into right now is, that on a coworkers macbook, outlook won't allow me to create a Windows compatible link. It changes the backslashes "\" to forward slashes "/" and I can't seem to find a workaround for this behaviour.
Can anyone help me?
