Hi there,
i have a Microsoft Surface Book 2 PGV-00004 and a Surface Dock PC9-00004.
A Dell monitor E2720HS is connected to the dock with mini-DP to HDMI adapter cable.
The Dell monitor keeps staying in standby no matter what i try. The display setting only shows the builtin screen.
Power supply via the dock works, network-cable works and all the usb-stuff connected to the dock works.
Windows 10 2004 is up to date.
We also have a Surface Pro 4. This even works with two E2720HS connected to the dock.
So i assume there is no problem with the cabeling.
We also tried a different monitor with mini-displayport to displayport cable.
This Microsoft Surface Dock Firmware Update - Technical information for IT administrators - Surface also does not seem to help.
Anybody an idea how to get this working?
Are there any hidden tweaks or updates for the surface-book or the surface-dock?
